Rob has worked in the nonprofit sector for most of his career, having aligned his passion for wildlife with his interests in nonprofit leadership and fundraising. Prior to joining Audubon, Rob served in executive director roles with the International Wolf Center, the YMCA, the Saint Paul Police Foundation, and the International Peace Garden. As capital campaign director for the Boy Scouts of America, he led a successful $25 million capital fundraising campaign in Minnesota that exceeded its goal during the 2007-09 economic recession. Rob has served as an adjunct professor at Minnesota State University Mankato, been involved in the community as a President’s Cabinet member of Northern Star Council, and serves as a Trustee of the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Otjiwarongo, Namibia. He holds a master’s degree in biology through Miami University’s Global Field Program where he studied in Africa, Costa Rica, and Mexico’s Baja peninsula. In his free time, Rob enjoys photographing birds, wildlife, landscapes, and the northern lights.
