Bonita (Bonnie) Hill
Bonnie is a retired family physician with a lifelong interest in nature. She grew up in N. St. Paul, on a small lake, just big enough for canoeing and lakeside campfires. She practiced medicine for 35 years, most recently at Lakeview Clinic, in Chaska, and earlier at Park Nicollet Clinic.
She enjoyed many summer weeks at camp, as a camper or counselor, and attended Itasca Biological Field Station summer school while in college. Bonnie has taken up birding since retiring, and loves the time outdoors as much as the birds. She is fortunate to have three experienced birding friends who help her learn, and invite her on trips to amazing birding spots.
Her leadership experience includes nine years on the board of Northern Clay Center and leadership training at Ridgeview Medical Center. She has served on a variety of committees at her clinic and hospital, as well as at her church.
Bonnie is a busy grandmother of four who wants, for all children, the preservation of our environment and of the earth's biological diversity.
